Three Sensors

condor_3

The Condor-1000 MS3 Multispectral parallel Imager enables you to develop the most demanding high speed multispectral applications. The visible channel can be equipped with either a monochrome or a Bayer sensor. Like all other infrared channels, this camera uses infrared enhanced sensors for optimal sensitivity in the infrared spectrum.

With the Condor-1000 camera range, Quest Innovations supplies a full range from costeffective dual channel (VIS + NIR) cameras to high-end five channel cameras. All sensors are aligned with pixel-to-pixel accuracy better than 1/4th of a pixel. Special infrared enhanced sensors are used on all infrared channels. In our terminology, when we mention the number of channels this means the number of optical channels which are equipped with an imaging sensor. By this rule, a Bayer mosaic sensor as used in the camera Condor-1000 MS3 on a 400-650nm optical channel only counts for one, even though it can be used to create three ‘virtual channels’ (RGB).
