Fluorescense imaging
Projects & Applications
Fluorescence imaging is based on the principle of fluorescent substances (a fluorophore or fluorochrome) that emit light of a specific wavelength when it absorbs light of another wavelength. The absorption of light brings the molecules to a excited state, during the decay from this state the fluorescent light is emitted.
The Condor-1000 cameras allow for real-time in-vivo fluorescence imaging, both intra-operative as well as in microscopic applications.
