Cameras for Industrial Applications

The Quest Con­dor cam­eras are used for a very wide range of advanced indus­trial appli­ca­tions world­wide. Appli­ca­tions include semi­con­duc­tor inspec­tion, food inspec­tion, robot­ics, steelplate cut­ting and print inspec­tion.

  • Smoke stack con­trol
    Infrared active gases absorb or emit radi­a­tion when spon­ta­neous tran­si­tions between dif­fer­ent energy lev­els of the mol­e­cules occur. The pho­tons are emit­ted or absorbed at char­ac­ter­is­tic wave­lengths, which are deter­mined by the struc­ture of the mol­e­cules. A given mol­e­cule can be iden­ti­fied from the observed inten­sity at these wavelengths

In conjunction with HGG Group and EyeRa, Quest Innovations has developed the world's first integrated multi-camera vision application for a 3D robotic profiling machine. Using a integrated vision system, a combination of 4 lasers and 8 digital cameras developed by Quest Innovations, the APC is able to quickly measure a wide variety of material shapes with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. The system perceives and consequently displays discrepancies of the material. These deviations are in turn related to the theoretical dimensions whereupon the robot automatically compensates the alterations in the cutting process.
